Welcome to our new and improved website. Given all the activity in Washington and at the state level on health care reform implementation, it was time to “reform” our website.

ABHW is the national voice for specialty behavioral health and wellness companies. We’ve designed this site to be a resource, to keep you up-to-date on behavioral health care issues and the role of BHOs. In addition to promoting the value and effectiveness of BHOs, this site offers useful information on ACA and parity implementation, as well as efforts to effectively serve the dual eligible population.

We have also created a modest online clearinghouse of websites of other organizations that have a focus on behavioral health and wellness, both in terms of policy and delivery of services.

In the coming months, ABHW will continue to focus on the implications of health care reform on the behavioral health community. Please come back to our site to get updates. And of course, contact us if you have questions or would like additional information.
